This group is under ARFD/EMS Command Discussion, for now locked until further notice.

After review from Command, we have agreed to allow this group to continue, however any provocations towards SAFD that are reported or are witnessed by command will lead to the instant removal and closure of this group..

Topic unlocked

It's funny looking back on this, because you had no such authority to close my group in the first place  ;)

I would suggest adding more to why you wish to join the SAFD.  ;)

Name: Mark_Hansley
Rank: EMT
Date: 3/9/14
Reason: I'm going to do this as respectfully as possible. I am announcing my resignation and most likely leaving Argonath RPG for good. As well as the fact that I'm getting tired of SA:MP in general, I do not want to stay in a server where Fire and EMS are constantly shi**ed on constantly. This is due to many factors in which I have already talked about in my previous resignation. I do not agree with many of the actions of the leaders of the ARFD.  I came back with the hope that I could try to make things better. Now I realized that I was wrong. I also have IRL committments including school, sports, and real life medical/EMS volunteering. I cannot get in-game as much. I thank you for reading this and I hope certain people will begin to start making urgent changes to dig this department out of the grave that was dug by it's leaders...............

Signed,

Firstly, we invited the Volunteers. They then chose to start doing what they wanted and becoming impatient. No one is here to "exclude" anybody for anything. We may ask them to leave if they are not behaving appropriately.

General Discussion / Trench/Construction Rescue Training
February 22, 2014, 11:52:46 PM
Earlier today, SAFD Fire Cadet [WS]Manoni_Kolta, Medical Trainee Alfred_Monroe, Applicant Michael_Bonnano, and Firefighter/EMT and Training Officer Mark_Hansley participated in a trench rescue training exercise in Doherty, San Fierro. A Police Officer volunteered to simulate a victim trapped in a car at the bottom of the trench. We lowered an extension ladder into the trench and me and two other members climbed in. Another member assisted in lowering down a stokes stretcher laden with EMS and rescue equipment. One member manually stabilized the victim's head while the others popped tires, extinguished fuel leaking from the vehicle, breaking windows, and used hydraulic cutters to cut the pillars off the car, and removed the hood. Medical Trainee Alfred_Monroe began taking vital signs, controlling mock bleeding, and administering oxygen. The driver was then immobilized with a C-Collar and Kendrick Extrication Device, and slid onto a backboard. The patient was then moved to a stokes stretcher and was winched out of the trench.

(*Unfortunately, there was a fight between a police officer and a volunteer firefighter above us, please forgive me for the foul language in the photo)

You WERE NOT flying the aircraft. A severe storm hit Los Santos causing low visibility and high winds. It was an accident. I didn't fly into the ground purposely. Anyway, this should be directed towards the complaints.

Was he evaluated by EMS?

I fully recommend this recruit. He was vital in responding to a TC with a firefighter down. He held C-Spine until Ambulance 471 arrived and took over. He is going to make a great addition to the SAFD.
