You should be able to use water on the extinguisher.
That depends on what is causing it to burn. From the looks of that picture, an accelerant was used to allow the fire to "hover" in that location and burn. Depending on the accelerant, water may or may not be a good idea. (This is especially true in the case of electrical or chemical fires).

Never use water to combat electrical or chemical fires, doing so is a serious risk! We should all know this! :ff:

I know, but the cause for the extinguisher to burn is unknown

First thing is to turn off the Energy of Activation. If it is a stove or an oven just put it out. After that try to asphyxiate the fire, covering the pan with the cap. If the fire has no oxygen it will stop burning.
You should be able to use water on the extinguisher.

      Shift Report Nº003

ArgonathRPG Fire Department
Firefighter Eric Severide

Shift date:
28/05/2014

Shift time:
1 hour.

Other units involved:
Firefigther Rami

Incident report:

After a long shift the last call was made to the mounts surrounding Angel Pine, Whetstone. When we got there a house was burning, me and Rami rushed inside to take any victim out but no one was inside. We extinguished the fire quickly to avoid getting the wind to blow the embers to the trees. After everything was out I did a search to determinate the cause of the fire; in the back of the house I found some broken bottles and ashes I then looked inside and saw a large number of burnt cigarette butts which made me conclude that was indeed the source of the whole thing.
When I thought everything was over, we got a call to Willowfield fortunately I had the time to re-fill the tank. Some dumpsters and garbage cans were burning in result of a car explosion in that area. After a chat with the police we concluded that it was some kind of street gang fight for turfs. It was a quick thing to put out and no firefighter was harmed.

Spamming is against a server rule, I believe this should be reported to the administration team since the 'reported' isn't part of SAFD.

Shift date:

Shift time:
1 hour.

Other units involved:
Firefigther Rami

Incident report:
Overall it was a calm shift, and its peek was the last call. The siren rang and I jumped instantly on the truck, a call for Palomino Creek where a gas station was on fire and with the possibility of the fire reaching the pumps.
When we got the the fire was no longer restricted to the shop but it had already reached the gas tanks, I rushed inside to do a primary search where I found the shop clerk laying on the ground due to the amount of smoke inhaled. I took him out and handed them to the Paramedics while Rami already had started the water cannon. I grabbed a hose and helped him out, after the fire was a bit away from the pumps I climbed to the roof and took out the fires there. Back to the station I had a shower and went for a hotdog.

      Shift Report Nº001

ArgonathRPG Fire Department
Firefighter Eric Severide

Shift date:
19/05/2014

Shift time:
2 hours.

Other units involved:
EMT Terro.

Incident report:
Busy day, I got to Los Santos HQ and the bell rang right away. Fire at the Cluckin Bell in the vicinity of East LS, three of our trucks got there. As no one seemed to follow me I had to enter alone and do a primary search looking for victims, in that process I managed to get a cook out and extinguished the source of the fire: a stove.
After packing everything up I didn't even had the time to go back to the station as we got a 911 call to Mulholand bridge saying someone was falling. Little did we know that the victim was actually in the car centimeters away from a good 4 stories fall. I called backup on the radio but no response once again, although an EMT (Terro) responded and helped me out. I took out two chains and attached those to my Squad Truck and to the car to stabilize it, after that I was about to get the Jaws to unjam the door but the driver panicked making him fall down and... and die. As it was kind of rough for me I walked home grabbed a beer and saw a movie.

Full Game Name:  [WS]Morais
Your Real Life Age: 18
Any other group memberships? (Corleone, ARPD, etc.): SAPD, White Shadows
Why do you wish to join ARFD?: After getting on duty a couple of times I understood that most of the guys are just doing this for the money and skipping a huge role play opportunity in which fighting fires falls. Since a kid my heart raced everytime I saw and heard a siren making me wish I was the one on that truck on the way to save lifes. Being a firefighter is one of the most important roles on every big state like Argonath and I believe that I would be a good addition to the team as I'm a young man eager to learn and to help others. While on the server I always aim for role-play scenarios even if those aren't created yet, on 'dead times' I always like to make something up to involve several people on different scenarios and with that plant the seed of 'RP'. Lead by example, right?
Time available online and timezone: I'm available at nights when I'm not busy with college. GMT
Do you know and understand the emergency/police codes used by the United States Of Argonath's various agencies?: Yes, I do.
Do you currently have a passport for San Andreas?: Yes, I do.
Do you currently have a driver's license for San Andreas?: Yes, I do.
What area would you enjoy serving in most? (Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, etc.): Los Santos
Are you interested in being a Firefighter, or a Fire Department-based Medic?: Firefighter
